The homeowners wanted to trade dated finishes and fixtures for sleek, modern elements that stayed practical day to day. The standout feature is a large walk-in shower finished in vertically stacked, warm terracotta glazed tile, paired with a white vanity cabinet, gloss quartz countertop and generous storage for a blend of mid-century and minimalist design. Because the room is long and narrow, improving function took careful planning. A dual shower head combining a rainfall fixture with a flexible hand-held unit delivers a luxurious feel with no change to the home's structural framing, and a three-tiered niche built into the tiled shower column keeps everything within reach. Before construction began, the clients reviewed 3D renderings along with physical samples of the terracotta tile and LED backlit mirror.
